A noi basta evidenziare che la matrice comune dalla quale sono nate tanto la regola benedettina,quanto la comunione di beni degli apostoli, l'idea base del comunismo , la strategia sociale nell'impero degli Incas ,la regola dei guerrieri di Platone ( più o meno descrivibile come : "da ciascuno secondo le sue possibilità.A ciascuno secondo i suoi bisogni") è identificabile con
l' ALTRUISMO .
SVANTAGGI dell' Altruismo sono che chi è fatto oggetto di benefici ,tende ad adagiarsi in essi e finisce col considerarli come dovuti.Altro svantaggio terribile è che ,non essendovi premio al merito, si smussa nei più dotati il desiderio di use our talents and, accordingly, there is a more or less pronounced decrease of both scientific and technological culture, initiative, 's economy and thus the standard of living ..... EGOISM is rather the attitude of those who say to themselves: they are more intelligent, good at , strong, smart, hard-working, perchè mai dovrei dividere i miei frutti con chi non lo è ?.VOGLIO IL PREMIO DELLA MIA BRAVURA E DEL MIO IMPEGNO E LABORIOSITA '.
E più ancora ,se sono più forte o astuto , perchè non dovrei conquistare,predare,schiavizzare ?).
Ciò produce evidentemente gruppi e società competitive nelle quali i VANTAGGI (che in varie maniere ricadono a beneficio della collettività) sono ad es : lo stimolo al miglioramento , la riduzione delle inefficienze , l'incremento delle tecnologie ,delle scienze,della cultura.....
Ovviamente gli SVANTAGGI sono che chi perde la corsa , si ritrova a vivere e morire isolato ed oppresso (forse in un vicolo di New York , forse in catene in una miniera dell'antica Roma) E chi deve correre arrivando sempre secondo, o cinquantesimo o penultimo,avrà vissuto una vita più o meno miserevole e/o sotto stress .
ABBIAMO VISTO CHE ENTRAMBE LE POSIZIONI HANNO VANTAGGI E SVANTAGGI (sia in termini individuali che sociali).
IL PROBLEMA SEMBRA DUNQUE:
COME POSSIAMO FARE PER GODERE DEI VANTAGGI E SFUGGIRE AGLI SVANTAGGI DI ENTRAMBI GLI ATTEGGIAMENTI ?
